First Cereal

I was trying to wait until he was 6 months before introducing foods...but, we couldn't hold out any longer.  Grammie has been staying with Owen while the babysitter's kids are on vacation and she said that he is hungry.  (Even though he is fat as a little pig!)  So after talking with lots of my friends with infants, I decided he was close enough for some cereal.  He loved it and he loved the spoon!  I couldn't believe how focused he was on the spoon.  He would watch the spoon go into the bowl and watch the spoon go into his mouth. We had so much fun with this first feeding.  Sometimes I wonder what I did for entertainment before he came along.

He topped off the cereal with nursing then passed out...I'd say that is complete contentment.
